This is one of the trickiest questions in the residential building industry. With such a wide range of building techniques, customization options, amenities and materials, it is so hard to pin down a standard price per sq ft. We prefer to give a customized quote with a list of amenities so that you know what you are getting for the money. We also can help fit a home to your budget by removing things that are not as important to you and putting the money in areas that matter most.
The short answer is 6-7 months for an average home build timeline. However, there are several factors to consider when trying to estimate build times for a custom home. Are you building in the city or in the country? Are you building during winter when weather can be unpredictable? How long do you need for design and selection decisions?
